Newport pre-wedding session for Sean and Laurie at Castle Hill Inn
Hi there! I want to share Newport pre-wedding session for Sean and Laurie at Castle Hill Inn and I want to say my opinion about the personal meeting of the photographer and his clients, more specifically – wedding clients. The meeting is obligatory and very important. At the stage of choosing a wedding photographer you can chat on the phone, Skype and so on, but if you made your choice and signed a contract, then a personal meeting with the photographer should become a mandatory item in your to-do list.
Many couples make a pre-wedding engagement photo shoot, and this is very cool, but many do not get it trivially because of lack of time or simply because their wedding photographer lives in another city or state. To me as Cape Cod wedding photographer, it happens very often. Couples from all over the country, since a wedding on Cape Cod or, for example, in Newport, RI. But even in such cases, I try to meet with a couple to establish contact and communicate, tell my approach to photography and simply talk about life. In general, my main goal is to become their friend and a man who can be allowed into their circle of trust on a very important day of their life – a wedding day. You can get together with the guys when they come to explore the wedding venue or a day or two before the wedding. Take coffee and chat!
These photos from our meeting with Sean and Laurie in Newport. They will have a wedding there on June 11 this year, and they live in Washington. So I came specially to meet them, and they had wedding preparations at the venue.
We talked, laughed, explored the location where the wedding would be, and even took some photos to make them feel more comfortable in front of the camera on their wedding day.
