Edgartown Harbor View Hotel wedding

Today, my blog post dedicated to Suzanne and Scott’s Edgartown Harbor View Hotel wedding on Martha’s Vineyard, which I took part in taking pictures at the beginning of June this year.

With the guys, I met in the winter when they hired me to take their MV e-session. After they had received the photos, they decided that it was me who would be the wedding photographer at their wedding on Martha’s Vineyard.

Edgartown Harbor View Hotel is one of the best places for a coastal wedding on Martha’s Vineyard. A very calm and quiet place. Very convenient for small family weddings in a narrow circle of family and friends. Well, the view of the marina and the Edgartown Lighthouse is an iconic picture for coastal New England. By the way, the view is beautiful as in a bright sunny day and overcast. I even like it more when the sky is above the lighthouse with clouds, instead of the bright sun.

And of course, the best place for a wedding ceremony for Harbor View Hotel wedding is an area by the lighthouse. It’s a short walk by a picturesque path from the hotel. The lighthouse is active, and there you can climb inside at the very top, but from the wedding photographer – this should not be done. Firstly, not every bride is climbed on a narrow staircase to a small observation deck at the very top of the lighthouse, and besides, you can stain the dress. Don’t worth it in my humble photography opinion)

Suzanne and Scott’s Edgartown Harbor View Hotel wedding on Martha’s Vineyard was gorgeous and beautiful. Very emotional and touching was the moment when the bride’s father, who had recently suffered a stroke, led her under the aisle. Everyone had web eyes, including myself, but photographers can always hide behind a camera)
