Cape Cod elopement

Cape Cod elopement guide

Hey friends! Let’s talk about Cape Cod elopement today.

To officially get married on Cape you need to meet these requirements:

  •  You and your partner should be 18+
  •  You and your partner should be in love

Then:

  • You decide where on Cape you want to tie the knot and reach local town hall ( List of Cape Cod town halls here)
  • Fill the application and pay the fee (amount of the cost may vary) and get your marriage license after three days. Don’t forget to show your driver’s ID or passport. Note that the marriage license is valid for 60 days only. So hurry up!
  • Find the person who’s going to marry you ( it can be MA Justice of the Peace or your friend or relative who needs to get One Day Marriage Designation. Here is the link to apply.
  • Book boutique hotel or historical inn. There are many of those on Cape Cod. Some Inns provide Elopement Packages.
  • Book the best Cape Cod elopement photographer here
  • Book your romantic dinner at any of Cape Cod’s local restaurants. No suggestions here as food preferences are very personal 😉
  • Talk to your photographer and the person who’s going to perform your wedding ceremony about timeline and logistics. I’m always happy to help my clients.
  • Enjoy your day and celebrate your love!

I want to share with you guys photos of Pablo and Chi’s Cape Cod elopement that I had the pleasure to photograph not long ago.

Because it was raining on the day of the ceremony and I was available for Cape Cod beach elopement photos on the next day – we spent half an hour during the sunset at one of my favorite places on Cape Cod – Chapin Beach in Dennis.

Things you need to know about my services:

  • I live on Cape Cod and I will recommend you locations for your Cape Cod elopement photos.
  • We will plan your wedding day timeline together.
  • “We don’t know how to pose and feel awkward when being photographed” – No worries about that! My approach is to make the process of being photographed as easy-going as possible. I’ll give you directions and explain what to do and how to pose. No cheesy embarrassing poses. I promise! And I avoid public overcrowded locations to keep these moments intimate.
  • You’ll get your photos in a private online gallery in one week after the Day and you’ll love them!
