Jacki and Michael’s Belle Mer wedding happened on the 9th of September at one of the best wedding venues in Newport. Looking through their  photos, you can see that this day was perfect – good weather, great people, laughter, fun, and Love!
Michael and Jacquelyn met in Israel in December 2010 on an organized, family tour group. Jacquelyn was with her entire extended family, and Michael was on the trip as well with his grandmother, aunt, uncle, and two cousins. It was not loved at first sight, in fact, at first, they really didn’t like each other as Michael’s first words to Jacquelyn were “shh” when she was being too loud on the tour bus. However, as time passed and they had the opportunity to speak to each other, they realized we had a lot in common. They attended the same summer camp for the same two summers, Michael grew up in the same town as her cousins and they at the time lived only a few miles from each other. There was an instant connection for both of them. They both strive to make each other laugh every day and to always have fun with each other.

That’s what Jacki says about their choice of Belle Mer wedding venue: “We chose Newport because Michael and I have really loved spending time in Rhode Island at my parent’s beach house in Charlestown. We originally started looking in Rhode Island to make my dad happy that we looked there, fully expecting to end up getting married in New York City. However, once we started looking at venues in Newport, we felt that this place was really special. And we liked Belle Mer wedding photos online. From the moment we walked onto the property of Belle Mer we knew it was where we wanted to get married. My parents, Michael and I left the venue knowing we were going to get married there.”
I just want to add that this venue is unique and absolutely beautiful and I wish all brides and grooms get the same sunset as we during the ceremony! Yes, this sunset light made Jacki and Michael’s Belle Mer wedding photos even more gorgeous.
