When you think of Cape Cod weddings, Chatham Bars Inn quickly springs to the mind. This is because of the plethora of wedding and reception packages on offer. Whether outdoor wedding venue or small wedding option, Chatham Bars Inn has venues in abundance to meet your demands.

The good thing with CBI is you can book venues with or without reception. But any on-site ceremony may only be booked in conjunction with a wedding reception. Also, the style and decor of the venue depending on your package, but you can rest assured you will get the best from your package.

Below are some of the wedding and reception venues on offer at CBI

1. Harbor View Room: The harbor view room is an indoor venue located just a few steps away from the main dining room. It offers a complete view of the ocean and you also get to enjoy its private terrace. And it can accommodate private events of 40 to 75 guests.

The price varies with the time of booking. It is made available at $1,200 from January 1 – Memorial Day, $1,700 from Memorial Day to Columbus Day, and $1,200 from Columbus Day to December 31. 

2. Chatham Bars Inn Beach: As the name implies, the beach offers direct access to the water and can accommodate up to 200 guests. The rental fee is $2,500 from April 1 – November 15.
3. The South Lawn: It is situated a few steps away from the beach. This outdoor venue can accommodate up to 200 people. Note that this venue can only be booked in conjunction with a reception at the Beach house. It is available all year round for $5,000.
4. Beach House: The Beach house is situated close to the beach and pool. It can accommodate private events of 75 to 175 guests. It is available for $10, 000 from May 1 to October 31 and $5,000 from November 1 – April 31.
5. The Main Lawn: The Main lawn is situated perfectly a few steps away from the main dining room and offers a superb view of the Atlantic Ocean. Note that the main lawn may only be booked with a reception in the Stars. It is available all year round for $2500.
6. The Boathouse Lawn: A superb venue with a nice view of the beach and ocean, it can accommodate up to 160 guests. Note that it may only be booked along with a reception at the Beach house or Boathouse. It is available all year round for $2,500.
7. The Captains Table in the Seaview Room: The Captain’s table is an eye-catching indoor venue with a soothing ocean view. It is designed to accommodate private events of 8 to 14 guests. The rental fee is $500 from January to December.
8. Charles Hardy Room: Named after the founder, it is located close to the main dining room and decorated with an antique fireplace as well as ceiling to floor windows. It can accommodate private events of 25 to 40 guests and is available all year round for $500.

Chatham Bars Inn Wedding Cost

With the plethora of venues and packages available at Chatham Bars Inn, the cost is dependent on that which you choose. But we can project an average cost based on some venues and facilities.

The average cost at Chatham Bars Inn is $47, 000 (tax and gratitude included) when you use the following:

•         Main Lawn for a ceremony
•         The Stars room for a reception,
•         Accommodate 125 guests on a Saturday night in July.
•         Top-tier a la carte three-course meal.
•         Passed appetizers.
•         A luxury bar.

Note that this doesn’t include: Wedding coordinator, additional decorations and rentals, photography, Entertainment, and DJ. But at the end of the day, the price depends on the venue you choose and the package.

2. Ocean View Cottage Rooms: These rooms are located along the bluff or next to the ever-impressive Main Inn and overlook the Atlantic Ocean and the Chatham harbor. They have either a king-size bed or two queen-size beds and some eye-catching amenities. Oceanview cottage rooms can accommodate 2 to 4 guests.
3. Deluxe Cottage Suites: These are special suites tucked away throughout CBI. They epitomize tranquility, peace, and beauty. Deluxe cottage suites usually contain a king-size bed or queen-size bed as well as a Pull Out Sleeper Sofa. They can accommodate 2 to 4 guests.
4. Ocean View Presidential Suite: This is an elegant suite on the Main Inn with two bedrooms and a 1,120 square feet living room. As the name implies, it contains virtually all comfort-enhancing and luxurious amenities you can imagine. It has a king-sized bed and 2 queen beds. Also, it can accommodate a maximum of 8 people with a sleep sofa.
5. Ocean View Suites: These are breath-taking suites that combine mind-blowing interior designs with eye-popping ocean views balcony or deck. It is designed to accommodate 2 to 4 guests with a king-size bed and a queen sofa.
6. Deluxe Main Inn Rooms: These are intimate accommodations located on the second and third floor of the Main Inn.
