Best Cape Cod sunset engagement session.
Do you know which is the place to observe best Cape Cod sunset? Of course, there are a lot of those locations, but one of the best and certainly very attractive is the Knob. The Knob is a part of Salt Pond Area Bird Sanctuaries located in between Falmouth downtown and the Steamship Authorityterminal at Woods Hole. The Knob was a part of the 16-acre property Cornelia L. Carey’s family but in 1970’s was given to the town. And now it’s a magnet for all the Cape Cod visitors and locals.
I love sunset light, so-called “golden hour” for photography – both portrait and landscape photography. There are some reasons I like this place and choose it for photography location. Firstly is variety – there is a forest path with high branchy trees, and huge stones and a beautiful beach, well, the Knob himself. By the very end of the evening there are quite a lot of people here, so if you want to take a picture, then it’s better to come a little earlier. But in general – the place is enough for everyone. And yes, best season for visiting the Know and Cape Cod as well is an off-season)
Last Sunday, Melissa, and Hilario came to my Cape Cod. I look forward to the day when I will photograph their wedding, and this will be in December this year on Cape Cod. Yes! A winter wedding in Cape! But for now, we decided to make an engagement photo shoot. We were very lucky with the weather. It was a warm weekend after a long cold spring.
